Our Rodman Ride will raise important funds for TextLess Live More, a national education and awareness campaign to end distracted driving and distracted living, founded in honor of Merritt Levitan. Seven years ago Merritt was struck and killed by a young driver who was texting behind the wheel. She was 18, had just graduated from Milton Academy and was on a cross-country bike trip to celebrate her summer before entering Colgate University.

TextLess Live More aims to end distracted driving for good by educating young people about the dangers of driving distracted, empowering them to engage in meaningful dialogue with their peers and communities, and promoting digital wellness through mindfulness and behavioral change.

Since its founding in 2013 by Merrittā€™s friends at Milton Academy, the TextLess Live More message has been received by thousands of young people around the United States and received national recognition for initiatives to combat digital distraction. TextLess Live More also advocates for hands-free legislation across the United States to make our roads safer by making it illegal to hold a device while driving.

Your donation and/or fundraising efforts will directly support initiatives that will change and save lives nationwide. We appreciate any support you can give either by joining our team or contributing to our fundraising efforts.

This is our 8th year participating in the Rodman Ride and the TLLM Team is thrilled to ride alongside advocates, supporters, and organizations working to make the world a better place. Thank you for your contribution and for your commitment to ending distracted driving.
