I joined The Sports Museum’s team again for the Rodman Ride for Kids.   I am thrilled to be participating AND raising funds for The Sports Museum’s character education program, Stand Strong.  As a long time Trustee of the museum and former Board Chair, I am excited to be supporting a youth focused organization that uses the power and platform of sports to make a difference for kids in our community who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience these valuable life lessons.  Stand Strong is a 12-week Social Emotional Learning program which leverages the power of sports to help pre-teens build strong character by discovering and practicing five core values: Teamwork, Fairness, Courage, Determination, and Responsibility. More than 2,300 kids have experienced Stand Strong since the launch of the program in 2007.

I am motivated but I need some help with the fundraising.  I would like to invite you to support me by donating to my personal fundraising efforts.  I have a goal of raising $1,000 and our team goal is to increase the number of kids The Sports Museum is able to serve in after school programs during the academic year.  If you are able to donate and help me reach my fundraising goal, I'd really appreciate your support.  Thanks so much!
