Dear friends and family,

On September 25, I will be riding in the 2021 Rodman Ride for Kids to raise money for the Asperger/Autism Network (AANE), a nonprofit with a mission that means a great deal to me personally.

AANE helps people with Asperger's or similar autism spectrum and neurodiverse profiles build meaningful, connected lives. They provide individuals, families, and professionals with information, education, community, support, and advocacy--all in an inclusive atmosphere of validation and respect. AANE is one of 40 partner organizations that participate in the Rodman Ride for Kids, the top single-day athletic fundraiser in the nation for charities that support youth in need.

Most of you know I got involved with AANE when my now 20 y.o. son Nik faced some serious challenges as he started middle school.   A referral to AANE for a consultation saved the day, as AANE provided guidance for diagnostic testing and advocacy in Nik's school setting.  Over the years, I've found incredible support, education and community at AANE.

Nik was recently interviewed by AANE's executive director re: his interest in martial arts.  If interested, you can read his interview here:

A donation of any amount will help me reach my fundraising goal. 100% of the funds that I raise will go directly to AANE’s life-changing programs and services.

Your support means the world to me.  Thank you, from me, and the thousands of individuals and families AANE serves each year, for giving today.

PS - If you prefer to make a donation by check, that is fine! Make your check out to AANE and mail it to: AANE - 51 Water Street, Suite 206 - Watertown, MA 02472. Be sure to write my name and "Rodman Ride" in the memo.
