I am riding to support the Rodman Ride for Kids because I believe that the kids who benefit from this outstanding event - and the organizations that serve them - have just faced one of the toughest years ever. I feel that all kids deserve a return to normalcy, healthy learning/activities and fun!
Last year I rode in honor of my dear friend Sister Maryadele Robinson, a longtime Rodman Ride participant and past Director of Catholic Charities Labouré Center where I have worked for 14 years. This year, I will ride to benefit Labouré Center again in honor of Sr. MAR and I will also be riding in memory of my mother - Mary Angela Creaton - who died during 2020 after a lifetime dedicated to family. With each mile, I will remember my mom and the endless patience she showed all those years ago when she ran alongside me, holding on to the back of my two-wheeler, helping me learn to ride a bike :)
