I am riding this year's Rodman Ride for Kids to support Sportsmen's Tennis & Enrichment Center. Everyday, Sportsmen's empowers youth living in Boston's Blue Hill Corridor, and beyond, to be leaders in the classroom, on the tennis court, and in the community. Now more than ever, Sportsmen's - the first African-American tennis club in the country - has an invaluable role in the community. Whether it be the engaging youth and police from across Boston in tennis-based skills and activities through the Volley Against Violence program, offering fitness and nutrition programming to improve health and prevent chronic disease through the Center of Community Wellness, or providing academic support through The Learning Center, Sportsmen's is invested in the community.

Since the spring I have been riding 100 miles a week on my bike to fulfill my virtual ride - I've already logged more than 1,500 miles - and will keep riding through September 26th! Will you consider donating to my ride to help keep me pedaling? With your support, Sportsmen's will be able to continue its array of impactful programming and serve even more youth.
