I am riding 50 Miles for Trinity Boston Connects (TBC), benefiting Boston’s middle and high school youth on 9/26! I would be honored if you would act with me and TBC in creating a more just world here in Greater Boston.
Over the last year and half since joining TBC's executive team, I have become even more convinced that this organization is focused on addressing the root causes of the disparities and inequities facing young people of color (YOC). TBC guides YOC in finding their voice and the inner strength that will empower them to both heal and thrive. Our staff has the clinical and trauma-inclusive and restorative youth development expertise to deliver exceptional programs and the hearts and minds to authentically walk the talk. I couldn’t feel more blessed to be a part of this TBC community – and passionate that the time is NOW to deepen and expand the work we do.
I invite you to join this community of support by donating any amount to my ride and/or spreading the word of my campaign. I would love to hear from you and connect in any way that moves you - even beyond this ride. THANK YOU!
TBC's proven set of practices address racial equity at its core on both a grassroots and systemic level:
Empowering youth of color to navigate the traumatic impact of systemic racism and supporting families. Racial equity, trauma-inclusive and restorative practices support the development of social emotional learning skills that enable over 1000 young people thrive in all aspects of life.
Training, coaching, and consulting in these same practices directly with the adults in the organizations and institutions that serve another 20,000 youth throughout the City.
Building a more equitable Boston one youth, one organization at a time, always with an eye on changing the systems that will sustain the healing that our City and our country needs right now.
Thank you for reading, and for your consideration!
