31st Annual Rodman Ride for Kids

Let's Keep Going.

Join us for our second Rodman Ride for Kids fundraising event.  We’re asking you to pledge to get outside, set a goal for yourself (or your team), choose an activity that you can get your friends and family to support - all while raising money for Waypoint Adventure.  This year there are two options for participation:

Sign up for the virtual event by choosing your own adventure (recommended fundraising amount, $500). Pick your adventure, be it hiking, kayaking, improving your baseball game or doing good deed for other people - the options are endless.  Sign up on your own or pull together a team and compete to see if your team can raise the most money! Want to brainstorm some other ideas? Reach out to Miriam at mtalamini@waypointadventure.org and she's happy to help!

Join us on the in person 25 or 50 mile ride (required minimum $1500 fundraising amount).  We ONLY have 10 bibs available for the in person ride, so please let us know early.  Join this team on September 25th for the in person Rodman Ride for Kids.

Isolation – a word that many know the definition of, but have not experienced its true meaning until going through this pandemic.  Your world has closed in, the walls of your house are your sanctuary and every trip into the outside world comes with challenges, anxiety, stress and fear as you navigate this new world.  Welcome to the world of many people in the disabled community.  Isolation is something that they are all too familiar with.  The outside world is not inclusive, is not accessible, and is not understanding of the inherent challenges that having a disability brings in our society.

Waypoint Adventure was founded in 2010 as an educational organization that uses quality experiential and adventure-based programs to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities. Waypoint Adventure uses these adventures to challenge our participants, as well as their family and caretakers, to push past their self-limiting expectations and see that they can accomplish more than they ever thought possible.  When many places closed down, Waypoint stayed open - running MORE programs in 2020 than 2019!  Last year 60% of our participants asked for and received partial to full scholarships for our programs - here's where you come in - we need your help to keep making these opportunities possible!

So unleash your creativity, join the Waypoint team - start adventuring today - and we can't wait to see what you come up with!
